Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting, interacting with, logging into, or using the NXI Discord Bot and its web dashboard (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

You also agree to abide by the Discord Terms of Service and the Discord Community Guidelines at all times.

2. Description of Service

NXI provides automated Discord moderation tools, identity verification gateways, a multi-chain cryptocurrency economy ledger, and cloud server integrations. Key modules include:

• Verification Gateway: Anti-raid authentication checking user Discord identity and IP integrity to prevent unauthorized alt accounts.
• AutoMod Suite: Automated deletion and punishment systems for Anti-Dox (PII protection), Honeypot traps, Anti-Invite filters, Anti-Zalgo, and Chat Flood limiters.
• CSSecurity: An always-on, API-gated safety baseline that detects content associated with Discord Community Guidelines Rule 6. Scanning may pause when authorized safety APIs or required bot permissions are unavailable.
• Multi-Chain Economy: Virtual balance tracking, deposits, withdrawals, and peer-to-peer cryptocurrency tipping across supported blockchains.
• Automatic Server Backups: Premium retains eligible message records for up to 7 days; Premium+ retains eligible message records, approved image attachments, and server structure snapshots for up to 14 days. Expired backup cycles are removed during scheduled cleanup, which may be delayed by service or storage problems. Backups may be stored in Redis or local service storage depending on deployment configuration.
• Ad-Supported Supporter Title
  • NXI supports Linkvertise, LootLabs (Lootlinks), and Work.ink.
  • To qualify, start an ad while signed in and return to NXI with valid completion proof. Linkvertise and Work.ink completions can be verified; LootLabs returns cannot be verified and do not qualify.
  • Provider content, availability, and requirements are controlled by third parties. NXI does not guarantee that an ad will be available or earn the title.
  • The title is a non-cash profile item, is not transferable, and is removed when the associated NXI account is deleted.

3. Server Administrators & User Responsibilities

Server owners and administrators decide whether to install, configure, and use NXI in their servers. They are responsible for configuring channels, roles, filters, backup settings, and enforcement thresholds in accordance with Discord's rules and applicable law.

• Administrators must provide members with any notices required for the features they enable, including automated moderation, verification checks, and message backups.
• Users must provide accurate information during verification and must not use another person's Discord account or attempt to defeat a security check.
• NXI does not replace a server owner's duty to review automated actions, handle appeals, or respond to urgent safety incidents.

4. AutoMod & Enforcement Rules

The Service executes automated moderation actions to protect communities. By participating in a server using NXI, you acknowledge that:

• Zero-Tolerance Honeypot: Sending any message in designated `#honeypot` trap channels results in an automated permanent ban and message history purge for regular members, or role-stripping and 7-day quarantine timeout for staff accounts.
• Anti-Dox: Dissemination of personal identity information (PII) triggers automated moderation actions.
• CSSecurity Scope & Limits: CSSecurity operates under an authorized API-gated safety lock. It checks primarily for violations of Discord Community Guidelines Rule 6. Note that the bot relies on external safety APIs and may temporarily pause scanning if external rate or quota limits are reached.
• AI Detection Accuracy Notice: Automated content safety filters, biometric age estimation, and AI classifiers are probabilistic technologies and are NOT 100% accurate. False positives, false negatives, or misidentifications may occasionally occur. The Service disclaims liability for automated classification errors.
• Backup Eligibility: Messages containing images are not saved unless the image completes a successful CSSecurity scan and is not flagged. No backup guarantees that every Discord object or message can be recreated with its original ID or permissions.
• Appeals: In the event of a false positive or erroneous enforcement, punished users may submit an unban appeal through the verified Discord OAuth portal at /appeal for human staff review. Staff must verify flagged incidents with appropriate official channels before accepting appeals. Reporting to the NCMEC CyberTipline is limited to suspected CSAM, child sexual exploitation, or another legally reportable child-safety incident; it is not required for every appeal or enforcement type.

Anti-Raid: When enabled by a server administrator, Anti-Raid monitors relevant Discord audit-log events for rapid actions by configured trusted bots, including bursts of bans or kicks and changes to channels, staff roles, webhooks, emojis, and scheduled events. It may attempt to reverse recent actions, remove roles from a trusted bot, or remove an unauthorized bot granted staff permissions. Detection uses short-lived event counters and thresholds; it can miss activity or act on suspicious activity that requires human review. Restoration may be incomplete or may not reproduce the original server state. Server owners and administrators remain responsible for configuration, permissions, reviewing security-channel warnings, and deciding what action to take against people.

5. Multi-Chain Economy & Wallet Disclaimer

NXI features automated cryptocurrency ledger management. By utilizing economy commands, you agree to the following conditions:

• No Financial Advice: The Service does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice. Digital assets are inherently volatile.
• Transaction Finality: All blockchain transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and user-to-user tips are final and non-refundable once committed to their respective decentralized blockchains.
• Network Fees: Withdrawals and cross-chain transfers are subject to network miner/gas fees deducted automatically by the underlying network.
• Responsibility for Addresses: You are solely responsible for ensuring deposit and withdrawal addresses match the correct blockchain networks and required memo/tag formats where applicable.
• Custody and Key Security: NXI may generate and operate service-controlled wallet infrastructure to process supported deposits and withdrawals. You do not receive or control the underlying private keys, and you must not treat an NXI balance as a personal self-custody wallet or bank account.
• Availability: Deposits, withdrawals, supported chains, tokens, limits, and fees may be paused, changed, or discontinued to address security, maintenance, network, compliance, or provider issues.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users agree NOT to:

• Exploit, manipulate, or attempt to reverse-engineer verification tokens or bot commands.
• Bypass, falsify, or interfere with ad-provider steps or completion verification, or submit another person's provider token.
• Use the bot to conduct raids, sybil attacks, token flooding, or spam transactions.
• Bypass automod filters using zero-width characters, homoglyphs, or obfuscated payloads.
• Attempt unauthorized access to administrative dashboards or private server databases.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall the operators, developers, or contributors of NXI be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Loss of cryptocurrency assets due to incorrect addresses, network congestion, or third-party blockchain outages.
• Automated moderation enforcement, temporary timeouts, or ban actions executed by server administrators or automated bots.
• Inaccuracies, false positives, or false negatives arising from third-party AI content moderation or safety APIs.
• Third-party API downtime, rate limits, quota exhaustion, service changes, Discord Gateway interruptions, missing bot permissions, network failures, or hosting server restarts.

Moderation availability: NXI is not responsible for content, conduct, or incidents that the bot cannot detect, review, remove, or otherwise moderate because of API limits, provider failures, unavailable safety services, rate limits, quota exhaustion, missing permissions, incorrect configuration, Discord outages, or other technical limitations. Automated moderation is not continuous human supervision and does not guarantee that every violation will be identified or acted upon.

Server oversight: NXI staff do not routinely join, monitor, or investigate individual Discord servers. Server owners and staff are responsible for reviewing automated actions, handling member reports and appeals, checking their configuration, and responding to incidents in their communities. NXI support may provide technical guidance or assistance when reasonably available, but support is not guaranteed and does not transfer responsibility for server management to NXI.

9. Privacy & Changes to These Terms

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Service collects, uses, shares, and retains information. We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time. For material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice through the Service or its designated support channels. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
